Aim of studyingto introduce students to the design of structures in steel, reinforced concrete and composite. The overall objective is to enable students to develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts and design philosophies related to steel, reinforced concrete and composite elements and to apply this knowledge to the design of conventional building structures. Students are introduced to European design guidelines (Eurocodes).
